Alternative Schools in Ohio for Students Who Need a Different Path

Traditional schools are not tailored for each student’s unique needs. Ours is. Education Alternatives offers specialized education programs for students who need structure, support, and individualized attention, including those with IEPs and unique learning needs.

We help students rebuild confidence, develop life skills, and move forward in ways that work for their individual needs.

Programs at Education Alternatives

Some students need more than a different classroom. They need a different approach.

Our programs are intentionally small and built around each student’s needs. Whether a child is facing emotional or behavioral challenges or needs autism-specific support, we meet them where they are and help them build skills step by step.

Day Treatment Program

For students whose emotional or behavioral challenges have made traditional school difficult, our Day Treatment Program provides a structured, full school-day environment that combines academics and therapeutic support.

Students are not just keeping up academically. They are building skills to manage school, relationships, and daily life. With small class sizes, consistent structure, and clinical staff working alongside educators, the program supports steady progress and a clear path forward.

Coral Autism Program

The Coral Autism Program is designed specifically for students on the autism spectrum, not adapted from a general model but built from the ground up.

The program uses individualized instruction and small classroom settings to support communication, social skills, academic development, and the sensory and behavioral factors that shape how each student learns.

Every member of our team is trained specifically to support autistic students, and the program is built from the ground up to feel manageable — so students can focus on growing, not just coping.
