Education Alternatives (EA) is looking for a part time, Food Services Driver/Server in Willoughby Hills.
EA is a leading provider of special education services in Northeast Ohio. EA focuses on providing behavioral and education programming for students with special learning and emotional needs. EA has 8 locations serving over 400 special education students.
The Food Services Driver is responsible for picking up meals, prepping, and delivering meals to the assigned site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Delivers prepared food to assigned school locations.
· Able to safely operate licensed motorized vehicle.
· Serves prepared food that meets school breakfast and lunch guidelines.
· Serves food using proper serving techniques from the National School Lunch Program.
· Assists in maintaining sanitation of the kitchen.
· Follows ServSafe policies and procedures and proper food handling skills.
· Establishes and maintains cordial relations with co-workers, students, and staff.
· Works in an efficient, sanitary, and safe manner.
· Maintains confidentiality of food service and school related information.
· Washes daily small ware equipment based on ware washing policies.
· Cleans preparation surfaces, kitchen equipment, and floors.
· Assists in the daily business operation of receiving, storing, and recordkeeping of prepared food to students and staff.
· Ability to carry out oral and written directions
· Records daily meal counts that follow National School Lunch Program Guidelines.
· Interacts with students grades K-12 while serving breakfast and lunch each day.
· Follows institution’s safety policies and procedures.
· Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
· Minimum educational level is a high school diploma or a GED certificate and some experience in food services.
· Knowledge and understanding of Ohio Department of Education food preparation and nutrition guidelines.
· Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures related to food service and kitchen maintenance.
